Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for custom software development.
- Maintain and update existing software applications to improve performance and user experience.
- Document software designs, processes, and code changes to support knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in understanding project requirements and technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
- Experience in debugging, testing, and troubleshooting software applications on IBM System i platforms.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Familiarity with database management and integration within custom software solutions.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in IBM System i (AS/400) RPG IV.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
