About the Role
We are looking for passionate and skilled Bartenders / Senior Bartenders to join the opening team in Hyderabad. The role requires strong knowledge of classic cocktails, Japanese spirits, and high-quality guest service in a premium dining environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience in craft cocktails, sake, Japanese whisky, and bar operations, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality.
Key Responsibilities
Bar Operations
- Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails to high quality standards.
- Develop and execute cocktails inspired by Japanese flavors and ingredients.
- Ensure efficient bar setup, mise en place, and service during operations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the bar area.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory management and ordering.
Beverage Knowledge
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of:
- Classic cocktails
- Japanese whisky
- Sake
- Shochu
- Premium spirits
- Guide guests through beverage selections and provide pairing suggestions with Japanese cuisine.
Guest Experience
- Deliver warm, engaging, and knowledgeable service to guests.
- Interact with guests at the bar and create a memorable experience.
- Handle guest requests and special orders professionally.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the restaurant floor team and kitchen to ensure smooth service.
- Assist in training junior bartenders and barbacks (for Senior Bartender role).
- Support opening and closing procedures.
RequirementsExperience
- Bartender: 2–4 years experience in premium bars, restaurants, or hotels
- Senior Bartender: 4–7 years experience in craft cocktail or upscale dining bars
Skills
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails and mixology
- Experience with premium spirits and Japanese beverages preferred
- Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
- Strong attention to detail and presentation
Preferred
- Experience in Japanese restaurants or Asian cuisine concepts
- Knowledge of sake and Japanese whisky
- Experience in opening teams is a plus
