Job Overview – Quality Assurance (QA) Executive
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Executive to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are eager to start their career in Quality Assurance. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in maintaining quality standards, ensuring compliance with company policies, and supporting day-to-day QA activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Quality Checks: Assist in routine inspection of raw materials, in-process samples, packaging materials, and finished goods to ensure they meet company quality standards.
- Documentation: Support in preparing and maintaining quality records such as test reports, batch records, deviation logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory guidelines.
- Process Monitoring: Help monitor production processes to identify deviations, non-conformities, or quality-related issues and escalate them to the QA lead.
- Testing Support: Assist senior QA team members in performing basic laboratory tests, calibration checks, and quality validations (where applicable).
- Audits & Inspections: Support the QA department in internal audits, external inspections, and preparing required documentation.
- Training & Learning: Participate in QA training sessions to understand SOPs, quality systems, and industry regulations.
- Coordination: Collaborate with Production, R&D, and other departments to resolve quality issues and ensure smooth workflow.
- Reporting: Prepare basic reports, summaries, and updates on quality activities for review by senior QA officers.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute ideas to improve existing QA processes and enhance overall product quality.
Educational Qualification:
- B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Microbiology, or Life Sciences
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm in Pharmaceutical Sciences
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Food Technology or Nutraceutical Sciences
- Freshers are welcome; prior internship/project in QA/QC will be an added advantage.
Skills Required:
- Strong attention to detail with good documentation skills.
- Basic understanding of nutraceutical regulations (FSSAI, GMP).
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the QA domain.
