Job Description: Medical Coding Trainer (Work From Office)
Location: Tiruchirappalli (Work From Office)
At Judah Code Technologies, we are looking for an experienced Medical Coding Trainer to train students and professionals in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, and other medical coding standards. This role involves delivering engaging classroom and practical training sessions, providing hands-on guidance, and ensuring learners gain the knowledge and skills required to excel in the medical coding industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct classroom training sessions on medical coding concepts, guidelines, and industry best practices.
- Develop and deliver structured course content, including presentations, case studies, and real-world scenarios.
- Train learners in ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare compliance.
- Provide hands-on coding exercises, mock assessments, and real-time case studies.
- Guide students on medical billing, claim submission, reimbursement processes, and healthcare compliance regulations.
- Monitor learner progress, conduct assessments, and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest medical coding guidelines, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.
- Prepare study materials, assignments, quizzes, and certification practice tests.
- Mentor students in interview preparation and career readiness for medical coding roles.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Certification in Medical Coding & Billing (CPC, CCS, CCA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and healthcare compliance.
- Prior experience in medical coding, auditing, revenue cycle management, or medical coding training is preferred.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, engaging, and structured manner.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
- Passion for teaching and helping learners build successful careers.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical billing, insurance claim processing, or healthcare compliance.
- Hands-on experience with EHR/EMR software and medical coding audits.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, payer policies, and revenue cycle management.
- Previous experience as a trainer, faculty member, or mentor in medical coding.
