We're looking for an Accounts & Compliance Executive to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and statutory compliance for a growing apparel and textile export business. This is a hands-on role for someone who's comfortable owning the numbers and the paperwork for a small, fast-moving team — and who can also help us stay organized as we hire our next few team members.
You'll work closely with the founder and have real ownership over how our books and compliance calendar are run.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and bank reconciliation in Zoho Books
- Coordinate GST, TDS, and ROC filings and deadlines
- Support export documentation paperwork (GST refunds, LUT filing) and vendor payments
- Handle HR and onboarding administration for new hires — offer letters, PF/ESI registration and filing, and attendance records
- Flag compliance deadlines and documentation gaps before they become problems
## Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in SME accounting or bookkeeping
- Proficiency with Zoho Books (required)
- Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic statutory filing processes
- Exposure to export documentation (GST refunds, LUT filing) is a strong plus
- Basic familiarity with PF/ESI filing and HR paperwork is a plus
- Comfortable working independently in a small-team, part-time/retainer setup initially
