Role Objective
The Customer Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical assistance to our broadband subscribers, ensuring high-quality internet connectivity, and resolving network-related issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve customer complaints related to internet connectivity, slow speeds, and router configurations.
- Monitor local network performance to identify outages or signal drops before customers report them.
- Remotely configure and troubleshoot Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) like ONU/ONT devices and Wi-Fi routers.
- Handle customer queries via phone or WhatsApp and maintain a clear log of issues and resolutions.
- Work closely with the field team (technicians) to escalate and resolve physical line breaks or hardware failures.
- Guide customers on basic Wi-Fi management and self-troubleshooting steps in simple language.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Graduate or Diploma in CS/IT/Electronics or related field.
- Certification: CCNA (Routing & Switching) or a strong understanding of Network Fundamentals.
- Technical Knowledge: * Solid understanding of IP Addressing, Subnetting, and DNS.
- Familiarity with Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology and GPON/EPON networks.
- Knowledge of PPPoE and DHCP protocols.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving ability.
- Patient and professional communication in English and Malayalam.
- Ability to explain technical issues in simple, "non-sahithyam" terms to customers.
Work Details
- Location: Kozhikode Office ,palayam (Kallai).
- Shift: Rotation-based (as per the office duty schedule).
