The Staff Nurse at Isa Rehab will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing rehabilitation for neurological, orthopedic, post-surgical, palliative, or long-term care needs. The nurse will ensure that care is holistic, patient-centered, and compliant with all clinical and safety protocols.
Patient Care & Clinical Duties
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient health status regularly.
- Administer medications and IVs as prescribed.
- Provide wound care, catheter care, tracheostomy care, and enteral feeding.
- Assist in daily living activities such as bathing, feeding, and mobility as required.
- Maintain nursing care plans and accurate patient documentation.
Rehabilitation Support
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, doctors, and rehabilitation specialists to support patient recovery plans.
- Encourage patient participation in exercises, ambulation, and therapy activities.
- Educate patients and caregivers about care routines and rehabilitation goals.
Emergency Response
- Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies.
- Carry out BLS/ALS protocols when necessary.
Communication & Teamwork
- Maintain clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Attend nursing shift handovers and participate in team meetings.
Infection Control & Hygiene
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of nursing stations and patient areas.
