About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Ecommerce Manager to independently own and drive our entire ecommerce operations. This is an individual contributor role — the candidate will not manage a team but will be fully accountable for end-to-end ecommerce performance, from storefront management to marketing, catalog, operations, and analytics. Candidates with an agency background (having managed multiple brands/clients) are strongly preferred, as they bring versatility and the ability to work independently across functions.
Key Responsibilities
Platform & Storefront Management
- Manage and maintain the ecommerce website/storefront (Shopify/Magento/WooCommerce/Amazon/Flipkart/etc.)
- Ensure product listings, pricing, descriptions, and images are accurate and optimized
- Monitor site performance, UX, and troubleshoot technical issues
Marketplace Management
- Manage listings and performance across marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc., as applicable)
- Handle account health, reviews/ratings, and compliance with marketplace policies
Digital Marketing & Growth
- Plan and execute performance marketing campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Marketplace Ads)
- Manage SEO, email/SMS marketing, and promotional campaigns
- Own the ecommerce marketing calendar and coordinate seasonal/sale campaigns
Catalog & Inventory Management
- Manage product uploads, categorization, and catalog hygiene
- Coordinate with warehouse/operations for stock availability and updates
Order Management & Customer Experience
- Oversee order processing, fulfillment coordination, and returns/refunds
- Monitor and improve customer experience, response times, and satisfaction scores
Analytics & Reporting
- Track key metrics (traffic, conversion rate, AOV, CAC, ROAS, revenue)
- Prepare regular performance reports and provide data-backed recommendations
- A/B test pricing, promotions, and creatives to improve conversions
Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with design, content, logistics, and external agencies/vendors as needed
- Ensure timely execution of campaigns, launches, and promotions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- [X]+ years of experience in ecommerce, preferably from an agency background managing multiple brand accounts
- Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, marketplaces, and performance marketing
- Proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and Excel/Sheets
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take full ownership without a team
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Good to Have
- Experience with multiple marketplaces
- Basic knowledge of SEO and content optimization
- Prior exposure to D2C or marketplace-first brands
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
