Job Description
The Product Analyst will play a vital role in our product delivery model supporting the ongoing evolution of our procurement analytics and orchestration capabilities. The scope of commercial analytics and orchestration includes, but is not limited to, value tracking/capture, spend analytics, orchestration, and our data solutions. Additionally, this role is expected to excel in partnering with business and digital stakeholders to identify innovative solutions that align with clients vision and drive value for our businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and model current-state business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct detailed analysis of business requests to understand scope, feasibility, and impact on existing systems and processes.
- Translate business problems into clear solution recommendations and develop detailed user stories, with technical details and acceptance criteria to ensure clear, testable, and aligned with business objectives are met.
- Lead requirements-gathering sessions with business stakeholders to elicit, define, and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams.
- Support Product Owner in sprint planning, grooming, and review ceremonies, acting as the primary point of contact for the development team to clarify business requirements and answer questions throughout the delivery lifecycle.
- Support development of product visions, roadmaps, and business cases to inform investment decisions and strategic direction.
- Serve as a secondary point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, helping to manage expectations and communicate backlog priorities when the Product Owner is unavailable.
- Act as the Digital Technology (DT) representative on initiatives requiring expertise in procurement analytics, orchestration, and other digital procurement solutions.
- Stay ahead of market trends and leverage emerging digital technologies within the supplier management capability to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Support workshops to map current and future product value streams, identifying bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement, and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, building and maintaining strong relationships across the client’s ecosystem.
- Communicate, educate, and raise awareness of product lines and roadmaps across the organization.
Education & Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT or relevant field
Experience working as a business analyst in a Technology organization
Knowledge / Experience

Relevant industry experience

Strong knowledge and ability in the Data Analytics and Orchestration capabilities.

Experience contributing to product roadmaps and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Proven ability to support or lead user feedback workshops and incorporate insights into product development

Experience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross functional team supporting the progression of the product vision, defining product requirements and coordinating resources from multi-disciplinary teams

Experience presenting technical concepts to business stakeholders

Experience or foundational knowledge in data analysis and a track record of making data-driven decisions

Demonstrated experience in conducting user research, defining user personas, and translating user needs into actionable product features

Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, especially with virtual geographically diverse teams

Ability to produce accurate work under pressure with frequent deadlines
-
Creative and resourceful approach to solutioning business challenges and an ability to deliver creative value-added solutions through self-initiative and ownership.
