A 2D Architect is responsible for creating detailed technical drawings, architectural layouts, and construction documentation using CAD software. The role supports architects, engineers, and project teams by translating design concepts into accurate 2D plans that guide construction and execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare 2D architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and layouts using CAD tools
- Convert conceptual sketches and design inputs into precise technical drawings
- Update and revise drawings based on feedback from architects and engineers
- Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, standards, and project specifications
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and interior teams for integrated designs
- Maintain drawing files, documentation, and revision records
- Assist in preparing presentation drawings and construction documentation sets
- Support site teams with as-built drawings when required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of other CAD tools is a plus
- Strong understanding of architectural drafting standards and construction detailing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
- Attention to detail and accuracy in technical documentation
- Basic knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and codes
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Revit or other BIM tools
- Knowledge of 3D visualization tools (SketchUp, Lumion, etc.)
- Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
- Ability to work in fast-paced project environments
Experience Level
- Fresher to 5 years (depending on project complexity)
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
