Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Scientist (FND) for our OSD (Oral Solid Dosage) Plant.
Roles & Responsibilities – Scientist (FND) | OSD Plant
- Responsible for Finished Dosage Form (FND) development activities for Oral Solid Dosage forms including tablets and capsules.
- Execute and support formulation development, optimization, and scale-up activities for OSD products.
- Perform technology transfer from R&D to pilot and commercial manufacturing.
- Prepare and review Master Formula Records (MFR), Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR), and development reports.
- Conduct process validation, process optimization, and troubleshooting during development and commercial batches.
- Coordinate with Analytical, QA, QC, Production, and Regulatory Affairs teams for smooth project execution.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, SOPs, data integrity, and regulatory guidelines (ICH, WHO, USFDA as applicable).
- Support exhibit, stability, and submission batches for regulatory filings.
- Investigate deviations, OOS/OOT, change controls, and CAPA related to formulation and process.
- Maintain proper documentation and data integrity as per GMP requirements.
- Participate in regulatory audits, internal audits, and customer audits.
- Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance within the formulation and manufacturing areas.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Education: B.Pharm & M.Pharm (Pharmaceutics preferred)
- Experience: 6 Months to 5 years of relevant experience in an OSD pharmaceutical manufacturing plant
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of OSD manufacturing processes
- Good understanding of GMP and regulatory requirements
- Leadership and team-handling skills
- Problem-solving and documentation skills
