Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Boring Machine Operator to join Decotales. The candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining boring machines used in furniture and modular interior production, ensuring precision drilling for cabinets, wardrobes, panels, and other custom interior components.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate horizontal and vertical boring machines for wood, MDF, plywood, laminates, and other interior materials.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, cut lists, and work orders.
- Set up machines according to job specifications (depth, spacing, alignment, etc.).
- Ensure accurate drilling for hinges, dowels, connectors, and hardware fittings.
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the production area.
- Coordinate with CNC operators, carpenters, and assembly teams for workflow efficiency.
- Follow company safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience operating boring machines in furniture or interior manufacturing.
- Knowledge of woodworking tools and interior materials.
- Ability to read and understand shop drawings and measurements (mm/inches).
- Basic understanding of machine maintenance.
- Good attention to detail and quality control.
- Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in modular kitchen, wardrobe, or custom furniture manufacturing.
- Familiarity with CNC boring machines is an advantage.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
