Seetha Silk is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Store Keeper to manage our retail inventory, stock room, and material incoming/outgoing processes. The ideal candidate will ensure that our clothing stock is accurately recorded, neatly organized, and readily available for the sales floor. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting smooth daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Management: Receive, unpack, and arrange incoming clothing stock (sarees, materials, ready-mades) neatly in the warehouse/stock room.
- Inventory Tracking: Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical records of all inventory movements (stock-in, stock-out, and transfers).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments for damages, defects, or quantity discrepancies against delivery notes and invoices.
- Replenishment: Coordinate closely with the sales floor team to ensure popular apparel items are consistently replenished on the display racks.
- Auditing: Conduct regular physical stock verification and periodic cycle counts to minimize inventory shrinkage.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store room environment to ensure easy accessibility of merchandise.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or Degree in any discipline.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar role (experience in retail or textile/apparel industry is a major plus).
- Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, retail billing, or inventory software).
- Good numerical and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
- Language: Fluency in Malayalam; basic understanding of English is preferred.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift, move, and organize stock boxes as needed.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
