Position Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced German Teacher to become a valued member of our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for teaching the German language and culture to students of diverse ages and backgrounds. Success in this role requires the ability to thrive in a collaborative setting and the expertise to design and deliver engaging, effective lesson plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruct students in the German language and culture across varying proficiency levels.
- Create and implement lesson plans that are both engaging and aligned with the curriculum.
- Assess student progress through evaluations and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues to refine instructional strategies and share effective teaching practices.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and overall performance.
- Actively participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching skills.
Requirements:
- Any Bachelors degree in German, Education, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in teaching the German language.
- Proficiency in German, both spoken and written (B2-C2).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
- A deep passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering student success.
