The Role
As a Founding AI Architect / AI Development Engineer, you will lead the core algorithmic architecture for automated curriculum generation, interactive mathematical exercises, and automated pedagogical validation.
You will tackle complex challenges at the intersection of symbolic reasoning, NLP, large language models (LLMs), and interactive learning frameworks—with a heavy focus on the Singapore Math Concrete–Pictorial–Abstract (CPA) methodology.
Key Responsibilities
- Autonomous Content Generation: Architect and scale AI-driven pipelines to generate rich, multimodal math exercises across diverse global curricula, emphasizing Singapore Math (CPA approach) and multi-step scenario-based learning.
- Automated Verification & Logic Validation: Design hybrid validation systems (combining neuro-symbolic methods, formal rule-based verifiers, and LLM-as-a-judge pipelines) to guarantee 100% mathematical correctness, logical consistency, and precise curriculum alignment.
- Socratic Dialogue & Reasoning Engines: Develop agentic workflows and prompt/fine-tuning strategies that power real-time, interactive learning loops, automated hint generation, and diagnostic step-by-step feedback.
- Advanced Pipeline Optimization: Implement and iterate on modern Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), structured output formatting, knowledge-graph integration, and targeted fine-tuning to elevate output quality and eliminate hallucinations.
- R&D and Literature Translation: Track the latest breakthroughs in mathematical reasoning (e.g., chain-of-thought architectures, automated theorem proving, agentic systems) and translate state-of-the-art research into scalable production features.
- Cross-Functional System Design: Work closely with product and curriculum leads to translate complex pedagogical principles into rigorous algorithmic specifications.
What We Look For1. Academic & Theoretical Foundation
- Postgraduate (M.Tech/M.Stat/M.S.) or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or AI/ML (strongly preferred from premier institutes such as ISI, IIT, or equivalent global institutions).
- Deep understanding of formal mathematical logic, discrete mathematics, and algorithmic problem-solving.
2. Core Technical Skills
- Languages & Frameworks: Advanced proficiency in Python and familiarity with modern ML/LLM ecosystems (e.g., PyTorch, LangChain/LlamaIndex, vLLM, DSPy).
- LLM Engineering: Proven experience with model fine-tuning (PEFT/LoRA), prompt optimization, structured outputs, and RAG architectures integrated with vector databases and graph systems.
- System Rigor: Hands-on experience designing automated evaluation, content moderation, or rule-based verification engines where zero-error tolerance is critical.
3. Mindset & Execution
- Ability to quickly digest and implement findings from technical whitepapers and open-source repositories.
- Ownership mentality suited for an early-stage, lean, high-velocity engineering team.
