Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial records, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting, with the ability to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documents.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Prepare and record journal entries, invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Process payroll and maintain employee reimbursement records.
- Monitor budgets and prepare financial reports for management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and accounting software.
- Understanding of GST, TDS, and financial compliance.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Additional certifications in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation will be an advantage.
Experience
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting
salary
₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month (Based on experience and qualifications)
Working Hours
Monday to Saturday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Immediate joiners preferred.
- Candidates residing in or willing to relocate to Kottayam.
- Strong knowledge of accounting software and statutory compliance.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Kottayam, Kerala (Kottayam): Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
