Job Summary
Rainbow International School is seeking a proactive, mobile, and resourceful IT Executive to manage and resolve day-to-day IT queries for employees across all 8 branches. The ideal candidate will act as the go-to technical support resource, ensuring minimal downtime for teaching and administrative staff.
Mandatory Requirement: Since this role requires extensive travel between our 8 campuses to provide on-site support, owning a valid bike (two-wheeler) and possessing a permanent driving license is strictly mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Multi-Branch Support: Travel efficiently across all 8 school branches to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and networking issues for teaching and non-teaching staff.
- Helpdesk & Issue Resolution: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal IT queries (via call, email, or ticketing systems) regarding desktops, laptops, printers, and smart classroom boards.
- Hardware Maintenance: Install, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, projectors, CCTV cameras, and biometrics/attendance systems.
- Network & Connectivity: Troubleshoot basic local network (LAN) issues, Wi-Fi connectivity problems, and coordinate with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) when needed.
- Software Management: Install and update operating systems (Windows/macOS), school ERP software, anti-virus software, and essential applications like MS Office/Google Workspace.
- Asset Tracking: Maintain a clear, updated log of IT assets across all branches and report any immediate hardware replacements or upgrades required.
What We Are Looking For:
- Education: Graduate degree in IT, Computer Science, BCA, or a related field. Alternatively, a dedicated Diploma in Computer Hardware & Networking.
- Experience: 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in desktop support, IT helpdesk, or hardware troubleshooting. (Prior experience working within an educational institution or school setup is highly preferred!)
- Travel & Mobility (Mandatory): You must own a functional two-wheeler (bike/scooter) with valid insurance and PUC, and hold a permanent driving license. This role requires frequent travel to support our 8 branches.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows OS and standard software applications.
- Solid grasp of basic networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi connectivity, IP configurations).
- Experience setting up and repairing printers, scanners, projectors, and smart classroom boards.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
