Thermal SQA Team is looking for an ambitious, highly motivated SQA Automation Engineer with strong testing fundamentals and Python expertise. In this role, you will be executing automated tests, debugging test failures, and validating Thermal Control Systems on Apple products. You should have a strong interest in learning new technologies, understanding complex test scenarios, and effectively analyzing test results to ensure the highest product quality.
As part of this team, you will be maintaining existing automation frameworks, contributing to test coverage expansion, and collaborating with many different teams within Apple to further improve the quality of our products.

Description
Execute and maintain automated test suites to validate Software/Hardware for Thermal Control Systems on Apple products
Debug automation test failures, analyze logs, and determine whether issues are test-related or product defects
Analyze automation test results for failures, identifying issue trends, and quantifying impact
Contribute to expanding test coverage by adding new test cases to existing automation frameworks
Develop Python scripts and tools to analyze test data and generate meaningful reports
Work closely and collaborate with cross-functional software, and hardware teams
Preferred Qualifications
Thermal control systems related experience is a plus
Experience with data visualization tools to analyze large data sets
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
Experience with test management and bug tracking tools
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of experience in QA and test automation, with a strong foundation in software testing principles and methodologies
Proficient in Python for test automation, debugging, and data analysis using existing frameworks and libraries
Experience testing consumer products in lab environment
Skilled in test execution, failure analysis, defect reporting, and regression validation for consumer hardware/software products
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
