SEO Executive (Full-Time)
About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on SEO Executive to own the day-to-day
health and growth of our website's organic search performance. This
is an execution-heavy role: you'll spend your time fixing what's
broken, publishing what's missing, and steadily building the site's
authority. You'll work closely with our team, so you don't need to
have done all of this alone before — but you do need to be curious,
detail-obsessed, and comfortable digging into a site until you
understand why something isn't ranking.
What You'll Do
Technical SEO
- Monitor and resolve technical errors across the site — broken
links, redirect chains, duplicate content, canonical issues, and
crawl errors
- Maintain robots.txt, XML sitemaps, and site structure
- Fix indexing issues in Google Search Console and get important
pages indexed and staying indexed
- Run regular site audits (Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, or
similar) and turn findings into a prioritized fix list
- Work on Core Web Vitals and page speed improvements alongside the
development team
- Implement and validate schema markup
On-Page SEO
- Keyword research and mapping keywords to the right pages
- Write and optimize meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, and
image alt text
- Optimize existing pages for search intent, internal linking, and
readability
- Identify content gaps and pages that are underperforming
Content
- Plan, write, and publish SEO-driven content — blog posts, landing
pages, and supporting pages
- Coordinate simple content design and formatting so pages are easy
to read and visually clear
- Keep existing content fresh and updated
Off-Page SEO
- Build quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting,
directories, and digital PR
- Monitor the backlink profile and disavow toxic links
- Track competitor link activity and find opportunities we're missing
Reporting
- Track rankings, organic traffic, and conversions in Google
Analytics and Search Console
- Report monthly on what moved, what didn't, and what's next
What We're Looking For
- 0–2 years of hands-on SEO experience (internships and personal
projects count — show us a site you've worked on)
- Working knowledge of Google Search Console and Google Analytics
- Familiarity with at least one SEO tool (Ahrefs, Semrush,
Screaming Frog, Ubersuggest, or similar)
- Strong written English and the ability to write clear,
useful content
- Basic understanding of HTML — enough to read a page, spot a
missing tag, and communicate a fix
- A genuine interest in how search works, including how AI search
tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity are changing it
- Organized, self-driven, and comfortable being accountable for
numbers
Nice to Have
- Experience with WordPress or another CMS
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data
- Any exposure to ecommerce or local SEO
- Basic design skills (Canva or similar) for content visuals
What You'll Get
- Full ownership of a real site with measurable impact — not a
narrow slice of someone else's project
- Direct mentorship and room to grow into a senior SEO role
- [Salary range]
- [Benefits / work arrangement / location]
How to Apply
Apply through Indeed with your resume. In your application, tell us
about one SEO problem you solved and what happened to the numbers
afterward — we'd rather see that than a list of tools.
