Role Overview
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, handling GST compliance, and ensuring timely tax filings. The role requires strong expertise in Tally and a solid understanding of Indian taxation laws
Key Responsibilities1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain daily accounts in Tally
- Record sales, purchases, expenses, and bank transactions
- Perform bank reconciliations regularly
- Maintain ledger accuracy and proper documentation
2. GST & Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- Ensure proper input tax credit (ITC) tracking
- Handle GST reconciliation and mismatch issues
- Stay updated with GST rules and compliance requirements
3. Billing & Invoicing
- Generate accurate invoices for B2B and B2C sales
- Ensure proper tax calculation on all invoices
- Coordinate with operations for order-wise billing accuracy
4. Vendor & Payment Management
- Maintain vendor accounts and records
- Process vendor payments and track dues
- Reconcile vendor statements
5. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly financial reports:
- Profit & Loss Statement
- Expense reports
- Sales reports
- Assist in budgeting and cost control
6. Audit & Compliance
- Maintain records for internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements
- Coordinate with CA for finalization and filings
7. Coordination with Internal Teams
- Work closely with:
- CRM team (for sales data)
- Operations team (for billing & stock alignment)
- Ensure proper flow of financial information
Key Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of Tally
- Good understanding of GST laws and tax compliance
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / Finance background
- 1–3 years experience in accounting role
- Experience in F&B / retail industry preferred
