Job Summary:
The Production Officer will gain hands-on experience and receive comprehensive training in the day-to-day operations of a pharmaceutical hormone manufacturing plant. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals eager to learn about pharmaceutical production processes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and contribute to the safe and efficient manufacturing of quality medicines. The Trainee will work under the direct supervision of experienced production personnel, assisting with various tasks across different stages of the production cycle.
Responsibilities:
- Strictly follow Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and all relevant plant safety regulations.
- Always use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as instructed.
- Assist in the preparation and cleaning of production rooms and equipment before and after manufacturing batches.
- Support the movement and handling of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products within the production area.
- Help in basic operational tasks on the production line as directed by the supervisor or experienced operators.
- Assist in performing basic in-process checks and observations as per guidance.
- Fill logbooks, cleaning records, and other basic production documentation accurately and neatly.
- Work collaboratively with all members of the production team, including operators, supervisors, and personnel from other departments.
- Promptly report any unusual observations, issues, or safety concerns to the immediate supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy
- Experience: 1-2 years’ experience required
Skills & Competencies:
- Eagerness and willingness to learn new skills and processes.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
- Ability to follow instructions diligently and accurately.
- Good attention to detail.
- Basic communication skills (verbal, in English and/or Hindi/Marathi preferred for local communication).
