Job Description:
As a Python FastAPI developer, you will be an integral part of our development team, assisting in the creation of robust and high-performance APIs. You will work closely with experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies, including Python FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and Azure. This job offers a unique opportunity to enhance your skills and contribute to real-world projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure APIs using Python FastAPI.
- Utilize PostgreSQL to manage and manipulate data within the databases.
- Assist in the deployment and management of APIs on Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal API performance and security.
- Research and adopt best practices in API development and cloud technologies.
- Document code, processes, and API endpoints for reference and future development.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies related to API development, databases, and cloud computing.
- Write and execute unit and integration tests
- Collaborate with other engineers to design and implement new features
Qualifications:
- Currently studying in Final year of Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, IT.
- Strong programming skills in Python.
- Familiarity with Python FastAPI and its principles.
- Basic knowledge of databases, with experience in PostgreSQL being a plus.
- A strong desire to work with cloud technologies, especially Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and concepts.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duration and Compensation:
- Flexibility with timing and location are not an obstacle and should not deter you from applying. We offer remote, hybrid or in person placements and will accommodate any academic duties or constraints.
- Our compensation involves a unique model and its reward extends beyond a conventional pay structure. The duration of the internship is three months. Instead of a traditional salary, you will receive an equivalent of $8-$15 per hour in the form of shares in the startup you'll be working with.
