Civil Engineer – Job Description (Pune | Real Estate & Construction Industry)
Job Location Wagholi, Pune
A Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing construction projects while ensuring quality, safety, cost control, and timely completion of work. In Pune's real estate sector, Civil Engineers commonly handle residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day construction and site execution activities.
- Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, contractors, vendors, and project teams.
- Monitor quality control of RCC, masonry, finishing, waterproofing, and other civil works.
- Conduct site inspections and maintain progress reports, DPRs, and documentation.
- Prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, billing measurements, and material reconciliation.
- Manage material procurement, inventory, and manpower deployment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Track project timelines and support timely project completion within budget.
- Resolve technical issues arising during construction and provide engineering solutions.
- Assist in cost estimation, budgeting, and contractor billing verification.
Required Qualifications:
- B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of construction methods, structural drawings, and site management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project documentation.
- Understanding of BOQ preparation, estimation, and billing processes.
Pay: ₹10,786.18 - ₹45,885.09 per month
