Job Summary
The Plumbing Site Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and executing plumbing and firefighting works at construction sites. The role involves ensuring installations comply with project specifications, drawings, quality standards, safety regulations, and project schedules.
- Supervise plumbing and firefighting installation activities at site.
- Review and interpret plumbing drawings, shop drawings, and specifications.
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, HVAC, and other MEP teams.
- Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed according to schedule.
- Verify material quantities and prepare material requisitions.
- Ensure plumbing works comply with approved drawings and applicable codes.
- Conduct inspections and testing of piping systems.
- Monitor workmanship quality and implement corrective actions when required.
- Prepare inspection requests and coordinate with consultants/clients.
- Attend site meetings with contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Resolve technical issues and site conflicts.
- Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, and resources efficiently.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
- Prepare as-built drawings and project documentation.
- Track material consumption and project progress.
- Assist in billing, quantity surveying, and BOQ verification.
- Ensure all plumbing activities comply with HSE requirements.
- Conduct toolbox talks and monitor safe working practices.
- Report and address safety concerns promptly.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–8 years of experience in plumbing and MEP projects.
- Knowledge of plumbing, firefighting, water supply, drainage, and sewage systems.
- Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
- Familiarity with relevant plumbing codes and standards.
- MS Office (Excel, Word, Project)
- BOQ preparation and quantity estimation
- Material planning and procurement coordination
- Testing and commissioning procedures
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
- Experience in commercial, residential, hospital, or industrial projects, metro rail projects .
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month
