Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and technically strong Interior Draft Person with an engineering background who can prepare accurate technical drawings and support the design and execution teams. The candidate should have strong drafting skills, good communication abilities, and the capability to work in a structured corporate environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D technical drawings and working drawings for interior projects.
- Convert design concepts into accurate drafts for site execution.
- Coordinate with designers, site engineers, and project teams.
- Revise and modify drawings based on feedback from clients and project managers.
- Ensure accuracy in measurements, dimensions, and layouts.
- Maintain drawing files, project records, and documentation systematically.
- Assist in technical planning and material detailing when required.
- Support the execution team with layout plans and structural clarity.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (2D drafting is mandatory).
- Basic understanding of interior layouts, measurements, and technical detailing.
- Good communication skills suitable for a corporate environment.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
- Ability to work under deadlines and collaborate with teams.
Qualifications (Mandatory – Engineering Degree Required)
Candidate must hold an Engineering Degree, preferably in the following order of preference:
- B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering (Preferred First Choice)
- B.E / B.Tech in Interior Engineering
- B.E / B.Tech in any other Engineering discipline
(Engineering degree is mandatory for this role.)
Experience
- Minimum: 2 years
- Maximum: 10+ years
