Key Roles and Responsibilities
- Site Supervision & Execution:
- Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings to execute work on the ground.
- Oversee daily construction activities and manage laborers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Verify building layouts, foundation excavations, steel reinforcements, and formwork alignment before any concrete is poured.
- Quality Assurance & Control (QA/QC):
- Conduct routine site inspections to ensure structural integrity and adherence to engineering standards.
- Monitor the quality of raw materials (cement, aggregates, steel) and ensure all work aligns with approved specifications.
- Oversee critical processes like the curing of concrete and manage on-site material and water testing.
- Project Planning & Resource Management:
- Estimate material quantities (e.g., creating Bar Bending Schedules) and compile technical requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady, timely inflow of construction materials.
- Develop activity schedules and monitor progress to hit specific construction milestones.
- Safety & Compliance:
- Enforce strict health and safety protocols (PPE compliance, hazard mitigation) for all site personnel and visitors.
- Ensure all construction practices comply with local government building codes, environmental regulations, and legal guidelines.
- Problem Solving & Reporting:
- Troubleshoot unexpected technical difficulties or structural discrepancies as they arise.
- Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including site logs, daily progress reports, and material registries.
- Communicate continuously with project managers, clients, and design teams to resolve disputes and adjust plans if necessary
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
