Key Responsibilities:
- Review MEP drawings, specifications, and BOQs before execution.
- Plan and schedule MEP works in coordination with civil activities.
- Ensure proper execution of HVAC, electrical, firefighting, and plumbing systems.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to avoid clashes.
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on MEP progress.
- Ensure all MEP works comply with approved drawings and standards.
- Conduct inspections and testing of installed systems.
- Maintain quality records and checklists.
- Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and site safety practices.
- Identify potential hazards in MEP works and take corrective actions.
- Monitor material requirements and raise indents.
- Verify delivered materials against specifications.
- Optimize manpower and resources for efficient execution.
- Maintain daily progress reports and site records.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
- 4–8 years of experience in construction site MEP works (depending on level).
Key Skills:
- Knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with codes and standards (NBC, IS codes, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD / project management tools preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in residential, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Exposure to high-rise building or infrastructure projects is an advantage.
