Snowflake Developer (3+ Years Experience)Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Developer with at least 3 years of experience in data warehousing, cloud data platforms, and ETL/ELT development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, cloud technologies, and data integration tools to design, develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data warehouses and data marts using Snowflake.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for loading data from various sources into Snowflake.
- Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, tasks, and streams in Snowflake.
- Implement data modeling techniques including star schema and snowflake schema.
- Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, query execution, and storage utilization.
- Configure and manage Snowflake security, roles, access controls, and data governance policies.
- Integrate Snowflake with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Collaborate with data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Support CI/CD deployment processes and data pipeline automation.
- Create technical documentation and maintain data architecture standards.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and BI projects.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL/ELT tools such as:
- Informatica
- Talend
- Matillion
- dbt
- Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Apache Airflow
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of Snowflake features:
- Virtual Warehouses
- Snowpipe
- Streams & Tasks
- Time Travel
- Zero-Copy Cloning
- Data Sharing
- Materialized Views
- Understanding of data modeling and dimensional modeling concepts.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Python, Shell Scripting, or PySpark.
- Knowledge of Data Lake architectures.
- Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with reporting tools such as:
- Power BI
- Tableau
- Looker
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Snowflake certifications are a plus, such as:
- SnowPro Core Certification
- SnowPro Advanced Data Engineer
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
