Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatrician / Neonatologist to lead our pediatric and neonatal care team. The ideal candidate will manage complex neonatal cases, oversee the NICU, and provide comprehensive pediatric care, ensuring the highest standards of clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Neonatal Intensive Care: Manage the Level-III NICU, including extremely low birth weight (ELBW) infants, premature newborns, mechanical ventilation, and advanced neonatal resuscitation.
Pediatric Care: Provide expert outpatient and inpatient clinical care for infants, children, and adolescents.
Emergency & Critical Care: Handle pediatric and neonatal emergencies effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Obstetrics and Gynecology team for high-risk deliveries and antenatal consultations.
Quality & Safety: Maintain and improve clinical protocols, infection control standards, and patient safety guidelines within the department.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: MD in Pediatrics / DNB in Pediatrics from a recognized institute.
Super-Specialty (Highly Preferred): DM in Neonatology or a recognized Fellowship in Neonatology.
Experience: 3–7 years of post-MD/DM experience, with a proven track record in a high-volume NICU setup.
Registration: Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) / Bihar Medical Council (BMC).
