Job Title: EY1 Home Room Teacher – Cambridge Curriculum
Location: The Quantium School, Mokila, Hyderabad
Experience: Minimum 2+ year of relevant experience
Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging and activity-based lessons for EY1 students.
- Follow the Cambridge curriculum and implement child-centred teaching practices.
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, language and physical development.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and classroom activities.
- Observe, assess and maintain records of students' learning and development.
- Manage classroom routines and ensure student safety and discipline.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress.
- Collaborate with coordinators, co-teachers and the academic team.
- Participate in school events, activities and teacher development programmes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education or a relevant field.
- Minimum 2+ year of experience in Early Years / Pre-Primary / Kindergarten teaching.
- Experience in the Cambridge / International curriculum will be preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good classroom management and lesson-planning skills.
- Ability to use play-based, experiential and inquiry-based teaching methods.
