Develop and maintain backend microservices that power lead ingestion, routing,
nurturing, and monetization workflows
● Implement and extend event-driven pipelines using Kafka to process and route lead
data across platform services
● Build and maintain APIs and service integrations using gRPC or Thrift to connect
platform components
● Write well-tested, production-quality code — unit tests, integration tests, and
end-to-end test coverage for your contributions
● Participate in code reviews and contribute to the quality and consistency of the shared
codebase
● Work from technical specifications and design documents written by senior
engineers to deliver scoped features and bug fixes
● Collaborate with the team through daily standups, sprint planning, and
retrospectives following Agile/Scrum practices
● Operate in a scalable engineering culture that leverages modern principles of decoupled
systems and automated CI/CD/testing/monitoring
What We Look For
● BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
● 4+ years of experience developing well-tested software applications with languages such
as Go, Java, or Python
● Experience with gRPC, Thrift, or similar server-to-server communication protocols
● Experience with Kafka or other message brokers for event-driven systems
● 2+ years working with AWS or equivalent cloud platform
● Experience designing and implementing microservices that are testable and scalable
● Proficiency with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational (DocDB)
databases — schema understanding, writing queries, migrations
● Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
● Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with a distributed team across
