Job timings: 9:30am to 6:30pm
Experience Required: 3+ Years
Location: Sector 82, Mohali
Key Responsibilities:
- Regardless of the industry, a designer’s primary goal is to produce technically accurate drawing that can be used for manufacturing or construction.
- Drafting & Design: Creating detailed 2D drawings and 3D models based on sketches or notes from engineers.
- Revision Management: Updating existing drawings to reflect "as-built" conditions or design changes.
- Standards Compliance: Ensuring all drawings adhere to company-specific layers, line weights, and international standards (like ISO or ASME).
- Collaboration: Working closely with project managers and engineers to resolve design bottlenecks.
- File Management: Maintaining organized digital archives of project revisions and XRefs (External References)..Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree in drafting, architecture engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a draftsman, drafter, or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment or under architect.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, etc.).
