We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French teacher for CBSE School to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching the French language and culture to students, fostering a positive learning environment, and promoting student engagement and success in learning French.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instruction:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons to students at various levels.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles.
- Develop and implement effective classroom management practices.
- Curriculum Development:
- Create and update curriculum materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
- Align teaching methods and content with school standards and curriculum guidelines.
- Student Assessment:
- Evaluate and monitor student progress through assignments, exams, and projects.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records.
- Classroom Environment:
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Encourage student participation and engagement.
- Address and manage any classroom issues in a professional manner.
- Professional Development:
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching best practices and educational trends.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and strategies.
- Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Participate in parent-teacher conferences and school events as required.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Certification:
- Valid teaching certification in French or a related field.
- Experience:
- Previous teaching experience preferred, particularly in a school setting.
- Proficiency in the French language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Proficiency with educational technology and resources.
