About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Continental Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience preparing a wide range of continental dishes and be creative in curating menus that reflect both authenticity and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present high-quality continental cuisine.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning.
- Develop new dishes and menus in collaboration with the Head Chef.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels, ordering as required.
- Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
- Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
- Adapt dishes for special dietary requirements when necessary.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Continental Chef or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of continental cuisine (Italian, French, Mediterranean, etc.).
- Culinary degree or professional training is a plus.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain quality standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
