You will act as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries and play an integral role in keeping our HR operations running smoothly, accurately and efficiently. You will work across the full employee lifecycle, take ownership of HR system administration, and support the wider team with annual processes and HR projects throughout the year.
Your responsibilities will span:
- Closely supporting the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to offboarding, ensuring each stage is handled accurately, on time and with a consistently high standard of care and attention to detail.
- Supporting the HR team with projects and contributing to work that supports and drives our HR strategy across all locations.
- Managing the administration of our employee benefits and ensuring records are kept up to date and accurate.
- Supporting wellbeing and engagement initiatives throughout the year, working collaboratively with the HR team to develop engaging content and drive colleague participation.
- Supporting our annual HR processes and producing accurate HR data and reports as required.
What we are looking for
You will be a motivated and detail-driven HR professional who is ready to take real ownership of a broad and varied remit. Specifically, you will bring:
- Around 2-3 years of proven experience in an HR support role, with a solid grounding in core HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
- Excellent attention to detail and consistently high standards of accuracy across everything you do.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once without things slipping.
- Confident, professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build good relationships across the organisation with colleagues at all levels.
- Confident using IT systems, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and HR databases with a willingness to explore and adopt new technology, including AI tools, to work more efficiently and improve the quality of HR administration and process management.
- Sound judgement to know when to resolve something independently and when to escalate, and the confidence to act on that without being prompted.
- A proactive, self-motivated approach; you notice what needs doing and you get on with it.
- Curiosity, a strong work ethic and a genuine passion for HR and the positive difference it makes to people and working culture.
