About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and organised HR & Operations Associate to join our Pune office. This is a close-to-the-leadership role – you will work directly within the CEO’s office, giving you broad visibility across people functions, operational performance, and strategic reporting. You will be equally comfortable managing campus recruitment and employee engagement as you are pulling together productivity dashboards and presenting data to leadership. If you thrive at the intersection of people, operations, and communication – and you have a flair for content and social media – this role is built for you.
CEO’s Office Support & Operational Reporting
A significant part of this role involves working directly with the Founder & Director to ensure leadership has timely, accurate visibility into team performance, project status, and operational health.
Productivity Tracking & Analysis
- Own the tracking and analysis of employee timesheets on a weekly and monthly basis – flagging gaps, patterns, and concerns proactively.
- Prepare structured productivity reports across employees, teams, and projects – covering utilisation, output against targets, and time allocation.
- Identify productivity bottlenecks and present data-backed observations to the CEO with recommended actions.
- Maintain and evolve internal productivity tracking tools and templates in coordination with team leads.
Dashboarding & Presentation Support
- Build and maintain CEO-facing dashboards covering key numbers across active projects, team performance, headcount, and HR metrics.
- Prepare crisp, well-structured presentation decks for internal reviews, team meetings, and leadership briefings.
- Consolidate inputs from across teams and translate them into clean, visual summaries suitable for decision-making.
- Support the CEO in preparing materials for client interactions, partner meetings, or internal communications where operational data is required.
Performance Appraisal Support
- Assist team leaders and managers in running structured performance appraisal cycles – coordinating timelines, templates, and submissions.
- Compile and organise appraisal inputs, track completion, and present consolidated performance summaries to the CEO.
- Maintain performance history records and flag individuals requiring attention, development support, or recognition.
Training, Upskilling & Development Planning
- Identify training needs across the team through productivity data, appraisal inputs, and direct observation.
- Plan and coordinate internal training sessions covering time management, productivity habits, communication, and role-specific skills.
- Track participation, outcomes, and post-training improvement across individuals and teams.
- Build an annual training and upskilling calendar aligned to business priorities and team growth goals.
Recruitment & Campus Engagement
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for internship and entry-level roles across Pune-based colleges and universities.
- Build and manage a strong campus network – TPOs, student bodies, and academic institutions – to create a consistent pipeline of talent.
- Plan and execute internship programmes, from onboarding through structured learning outcomes and performance review.
- Develop and maintain a recruitment tracker and candidate database to support hiring velocity.
Employee Engagement & Development
- Design and run employee engagement initiatives, team activities, and recognition programmes within the office.
- Coordinate onboarding for new joiners and interns, ensuring a structured and welcoming experience.
- Support a positive and motivated office culture through regular engagement touchpoints and feedback loops.
HR Operations & Policy Management
- Maintain and enforce office policies, attendance systems, and internal rules in coordination with leadership.
- Support documentation, HR records management, and process improvements across the people function.
- Act as the first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from team members and interns.
Social Media & Internal Employer Branding
- Own QLB’s HR and culture presence on LinkedIn and other relevant platforms – consistent posting, community building, and follower engagement.
- Create content showcasing our HR practices, employee engagement activities, team culture, and internship programme highlights.
- Produce short-form videos and reels for internal and external employer branding – basic video editing skills are essential.
- Build and maintain a content calendar with a steady cadence of posts that reflect QLB’s values and workplace culture.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate or postgraduate in HR, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA (HR) preferred but not mandatory.
- 0–2 years of experience; freshers with strong internship records, analytical ability, and social media skills are welcome.
- Comfortable working with data – timesheets, productivity metrics, and simple dashboards in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to create clean, structured presentations for leadership audiences.
- Genuine interest in people, campus recruitment, and building workplace culture.
- Comfortable with social media content creation – LinkedIn, Instagram, short-form video.
- Basic video editing ability (Reels, CapCut, or similar tools).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
