Job Description
Conduct in-depth analysis of operational data to identify trends, patterns,
and areas for improvement.
- Translate data insights into actionable recommendations to drive operational
efficiency and strategic decision-making.
- Create and maintain regular (e.g., monthly/weekly/daily) reports and dashboards
to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business trends.
Utilize various software tools and systems (Excel, SQL, data visualization tools) to extract,
analyze, and visualize data, automating reporting processes where possible.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically skilled Product Operations Analyst to join our
dynamic team in our innovative insurance tech company. The Analyst will play a pivotal role in
optimizing our operational processes, enhancing efficiency, and contributing to the overall
success of the company. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent problem-
solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Process Improvement Support:
- Support the evaluation of current operational processes, identifying bottlenecks
and inefficiencies.
- Assist in proposing and documenting process improvements to enhance
productivity, reduce errors, and streamline workflows.
- Contribute to the implementation of solutions that ensure compliance and
mitigate operational risks.
- Issue Resolution and Documentation:
- Monitor business application dashboards and anomaly detection systems for
issues and errors.
- Investigate root causes of errors and analyze their impact on business
operations.
- Provide insights on issue fixes to reduce business loss and support resolution
efforts.
- Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to
processes, issues, and solutions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with internal teams (product, tech, business, and customer service)
and external partners (insurance partners, vendors) to gather insights, share best
practices, and support initiatives that optimize operations.
- Liaise with partner insurance for day-to-day business operations and act as a
bridge between partner SPOCs and internal business, product, tech, and
customer service teams for resolutions, data, and operational alignment.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Operations Management, or a
related field.
- Proven experience (0 - 2 years) in an Operations/Program Management, Product
Operations and , or similar role within the insurance or financial services industry.
Additional Information
Work experience in an analytical or operational support role within a dynamic and fast-
paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable
insights.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
- Excellent communication skills to convey insights and recommendations clearly to both
technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a
team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward identifying and addressing
operational challenges.
- Ability to thrive in a competitive and results-oriented work environment
- Industry experience in Insurance or Insuretech and a foundational understanding of how
the insurance industry operates is a plus.
