Faculty /Student Counsellor

Job Summary:
The Student Counsellor will be responsible for supporting students in their academic, personal, and emotional well-being. The role involves motivating students, identifying academic or behavioural concerns, and acting as a mediator between subject teachers and students to ensure a healthy and productive academic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel and guide students regarding academic, personal, and behavioural concerns.
- Motivate students to improve academic performance, attendance, discipline, and participation in institutional activities.
- Act as a mediator between students and subject teachers in resolving academic issues, misunderstandings, or communication gaps.
- Conduct one-to-one counselling sessions for students facing stress, low confidence, or academic pressure.
- Coordinate with faculty members to monitor student progress and identify students requiring special attention.
- Maintain regular interaction with parents/guardians, if required, regarding student performance and well-being.
- Organize motivational sessions, workshops, and awareness programs related to mental wellness, communication skills, career guidance, and stress management (For Faculties, Leadership, Students and other stakeholder).
- Maintain confidential records of counselling sessions and student cases.
- Encourage a positive and supportive learning environment on campus.
- Assist management in improving student satisfaction.

Educational Qualification:
- Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counselling, Education, Social Work, or related field.
- Relevant experience in student counselling/academic counselling will be preferred.
