Assistant Sales Manager ( Hotel Industry ):
Core Responsibilities
- Sales Generation: Proactively solicit new business through telemarketing, direct mail, and in-person sales calls to meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue targets.
- Client Management: Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, and partners to secure repeat business.
- Site Inspections & Tours: Conduct personalized tours of guest rooms and event spaces for potential clients.
- Administration & Reporting: Prepare sales reports, manage contracts, and utilize systems like Opera to update client files and track bookings.
- Strategy Implementation: Collaborate with the CEO of Sales on marketing plans and attend trade shows or FAM (familiarization) trips to promote the hotel.
- Team Support: Assist in mentoring sales staff and coordinate with other departments (like banquet or front office) to ensure client needs are met. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8]
