Job SummaryResponsible for managing team of outsourced staff by providing deep technical expertise in designing and delivering end to end high performance, scalable flexible solutions for Policy admin system (Integral Group/Group Asia/DXC SMART-400 Framework). He/ She would be also responsible to liaising with different business teams, cross-function teams for designing developing business requirements into system functions to meet the business requirements. Work with the direction from Solution Architect/ Enterprise Architect and co-create solutions with rest of the IT delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Business Requirement for product launches in all systems including Policy admin systems (Group PAS) and Integrated B2B and B2C assets
Provide consultancy to business for their IT needs on Group life product launches and enhancements.
End to end responsibility and ownership of solutions from Designing till their implementation (done in Project Mode)
Ensure Production support including audit findings are closed within TAT and weekly/monthly review with business partner • Ensure system performance and uptime
Review Work closely with various business partners and other departments to create future proof solutions covering digital, automation, APIs, integration and Resource management • Evaluating and implementing new frameworks, tools as part of projects
Responsible for building and managing governance processes and making sure teams are consciously adhering to Processes
Provide technical expertise in solving/troubleshooting performance other non-functional requirements
Training Knowledge Management within the team and stakeholders
Leading the team of business partners to co-create technical solutions for business problems
Ensure quality deliveries are done on time for SIT/UAT, provide testing support
Application monitoring, Performance, System tuning hardening
Ensure Product lifecycle management - EOL / EOS, Version upgrades(n-1)/VAPT/License/Compliance
Own/review - compliance/IS/data leakage open points for the system
Own DR Readiness completeness, system audit
API enablement/common capability creation

To maintain a healthy working relationship with the business users and other members of the IT Team

Key competencies/skills required:
At least 3 years of experience in design development in Group PAS/Integral Group/ DXC SMART framework
Sound understanding of IBM ISeries, Midrange products with an exposure on Business Objects (BOs), SOAP RESTful APIs
Experience on group life insurance product launches is preferable
Have sound understanding of Group insurance domain include Term life, Credit life, Micro-insurance, Health Insurance products
Experience in addressing scalability performance tuning of applications
End to End designing of applications with backend integration
Passionate Problem Solver and “Can do attitude”, self-driven with sound communication articulation skills
Desired qualifications and experience:
B.E / MCA / MBA //degree from a reputed institute
3-4 years of strong dev/business analysis experience with hands-on software development background
At least 3 years of experience in design development in Group PAS/Integral Group/ DXC SMART framework
Sound understanding of IBM Iseries, Midrange products with an exposure on Business Objects (BOs), SOAP RESTful APIs
Knowledge of Insurance systems, development best practices in Agile/waterfall methodology will be a distinct advantage
Should have architected and delivered at least 2-3 large projects in insurance domain
Should be working or should have worked with reputed organizations or startups
