Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Logistics & Inventory Manager to lead end-to-end inventory and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, managing warehouse and dispatch operations, coordinating with retail stores and internal stakeholders, and ensuring timely delivery of customer orders.
This role requires strong coordination across Sales, Customer Care, Procurement, Warehouse, Retail Stores, and Logistics Partners to ensure seamless operations and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, from order processing to final customer delivery.
- Ensure timely dispatch and on-time delivery of customer orders while meeting defined TATs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability across warehouses and retail stores.
- Monitor stock movement, replenishment, ageing inventory, and stock reconciliation.
- Conduct regular physical stock audits and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Support retail store operations by ensuring product availability based on sales trends and business requirements.
- Work closely with the Sales team to ensure product availability for customer requirements.
- Coordinate with the Customer Care team to proactively resolve order-related queries and delivery issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics partners, transport vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely closure of deliveries.
- Ensure proper warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures and operational SOPs.
- Track logistics performance through key operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory controls, and safety standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor the inventory and logistics team.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to inventory, logistics, and order fulfilment.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Reporting Manager.
Skills & Qualifications
- Graduated from a recognized university
- 5–8 years of experience in Inventory Management, Logistics, Warehouse Operations, or Supply Chain.
- Strong understanding of inventory planning, warehouse management, and logistics operations.
- Experience in coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including Sales, Customer Care, Retail Stores, Procurement, and Logistics Partners.
- Hands-on experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
- Strong knowledge of order fulfilment, dispatch planning, and transportation management.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- High attention to detail and strong ownership mindset.
- Experience with Unicommerce, Shiprocket, or similar warehouse and logistics platforms will be an added advantage.
