Role Description
- This is a full-time, on-site Snowflake Developer role based in Madurai.
- The Snowflake Developer will design, develop, and optimize data warehouses and data pipelines on the Snowflake platform to support analytics and BI use cases.
- Day-to-day responsibilities include building scalable ETL/ELT workflows, modeling data for reporting, and ensuring data quality, security, and performance across environments.
- The role involves collaborating with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust Snowflake solutions, including schema design, query tuning, and integration with tools such as Qlik, Talend, and Azure services.
- The Snowflake Developer will also participate in deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of data solutions aligned with Analytics Aura’s accelerator products.
Qualifications
- Strong Snowflake development skills, including schema design, SQL, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL/ELT pipeline development.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and data tools (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Talend, Qlik, or similar technologies).
- Knowledge of data quality, data governance, and security best practices in modern data architectures.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming for data engineering (such as Python, Scala, or shell scripting) is beneficial.
- Ability to work closely with analytics, BI, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable data solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with attention to detail and maintainability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in startup or fast-paced environments and familiarity with accelerator or framework-driven implementations is a plus.
Pay: ₹14,368.64 - ₹65,365.19 per month
