About the Role The role of a Python Developer involves designing, developing, and maintaining Python-based applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and optimizing application performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with Python programming, RESTful API development, and knowledge of SQL databases. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications.
- Build scalable REST APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Integrate third-party APIs and databases.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation.
Requirements
- Develop software applications using strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Utilize experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI to build scalable applications.
- Apply good understanding of RESTful API development to design and implement APIs.
- Leverage knowledge of SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or SQL Server to manage data.
- Manage code using experience with Git and version control.
- Apply familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns to write efficient code.
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Good to Have
- Utilize experience with Docker and Kubernetes to containerize applications.
- Apply knowledge of CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and deployment.
- Leverage exposure to microservices architecture to design scalable systems.
- Use experience with Redis, Celery, or message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ to manage data.
- Apply familiarity with unit testing frameworks like PyTest to ensure code quality.
- Have a basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy applications.
