PGT PHYSICAL EDUCATION TEACHER – JOB DESCRIPTION
Teaching Physical Education in senior secondary classes as the per CBSE curriculum to carry out the professional duties of a teacher in accordance with school policies and as required by CBSE create a positive educational environment for learning involved in curriculum planning, instructions and assessment
Teacher Responsibilities:
- Planning and preparing courses and lessons. Maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge related to CBSE preparation for Senior Secondary Classes
- Be proactively involved in teaching students.
- Motivating, facilitating, teaching, according to the pupil's educational needs.
- Plan, prepare and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class. Preparing weekly assignments for each batch assigned to him/her.
- Timely correction and marking of assignment work carried out by the students in class and elsewhere.
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development and progress of students.
- Communicating, consulting and providing feedback to the parents of students during PTM or as and when the requirement / need arises.
- Compose lesson plans in order to successfully incorporate the full duration of each lesson.
- Execute lessons efficiently using different styles of teaching depending on the content.
- Engage students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere.
- Instruct students about the structure and content of the Physical Education.
- Assessing and recording children’s progress.
- Organizing and participating in extra-curricular activities.
Teacher Requirements:
- M.P.Ed. (Master of Physical Education)
- Minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in a teaching role.
- Knowledge of various teaching methods
- A patient and resilient personality
- The ability to execute lessons with meaning, in a fun, and engaging manner.
