Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Billing Engineer with 5–7 years of experience in high-rise residential and luxury building projects. The candidate will be responsible for quantity estimation, contractor billing, client billing, cost control, rate analysis, and reconciliation of materials and work executed. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of construction contracts and billing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and verify contractor RA (Running Account) bills and final bills.
- Prepare client bills based on work completed and contractual terms.
- Measure quantities from drawings and site execution for billing purposes.
- Verify work executed as per approved drawings, BOQ, and contract specifications.
- Prepare quantity take-offs for civil, finishing, and structural works.
- Monitor project quantities and control cost overruns.
- Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and variation statements.
- Conduct rate analysis for extra and non-BOQ items.
- Maintain records of work measurements, billing registers, and payment tracking.
- Coordinate with site engineers, planning engineers, procurement teams, and contractors for billing and quantity verification.
- Perform material reconciliation for major construction materials such as cement, steel, concrete, and finishing materials.
- Track project budgets and support cost optimization initiatives.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, comparative statements, and subcontractor evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with contractual conditions, payment terms, and company procedures.
- Prepare MIS reports related to billing, cost, and project progress.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying and billing procedures.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, and measurement techniques.
- Good understanding of civil construction, RCC, finishing, and MEP coordination.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, rate analysis, and variation claims.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and ERP software such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent billing systems.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- Certification in Quantity Surveying will be an added advantage.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 5–7 years of experience in quantity surveying and billing.
- Experience in luxury high-rise residential or commercial building projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of contractor billing, client billing, BOQs, and reconciliation.
- Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and billing activities simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
