Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with strong expertise in the accounting domain to bridge business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate should have practical accounting knowledge, business process understanding, and the ability to translate financial requirements into functional specifications for software or process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyze business processes related to:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Taxation
- Payroll
- Financial Reporting
* Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders
* Convert business requirements into functional specifications
* Collaborate with development and product teams to implement solutions
* Identify gaps in accounting workflows and recommend improvements
* Perform UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate system outputs
* Prepare reports, process documents, and workflow diagrams
* Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
* Support implementation of ERP or accounting software enhancements
* Act as liaison between finance teams and technical teams
Required Skills
* Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
* Knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
* Experience in requirement gathering and documentation
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Experience with ERP or accounting software systems
* Business process mapping tools
Peferred Skills
* Experience in accounting software implementation projects
* Understanding of automation in finance processes
* Exposure to SaaS accounting platforms
* Knowledge of reporting tools and dashboards
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in:
*Commerce
*Finance
*Accounting
*Business Administration
*CA Inter preferred
Experience
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in:
* Accounting operations
* Finance systems
* Business analysis within accounting domain
