Project Role Description : Resolve incidents and problems across multiple business system components and ensure operational stability. Create and implement Requests for Change (RFC) and update knowledge base articles to support effective troubleshooting. Summary:
Kubernetes SME with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in Kubernetes.
Responsible for administration, engineering, security, automation, deployment, and operational support of enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
Experience supporting Documentum, D2, D2LS, xPlore, and OTDS workloads in Kubernetes environments.
Strong expertise in Cilium, MetalLB, NGINX Ingress, KEDA, Vector Telemetry, container segmentation, and Kubernetes deployment processes.
Responsible for maintaining highly available, scalable, secure, and production-ready Kubernetes environments.
The role also involves automation, monitoring, troubleshooting, release management, disaster recovery readiness, security compliance, and technical documentation.
Roles & Responsibilities
Administer, configure, upgrade, and maintain Kubernetes clusters supporting Documentum ecosystem workloads.
Manage cluster health, scalability, performance, high availability, capacity, and disaster recovery readiness.
Deploy and manage Documentum, D2, D2LS, xPlore, and OTDS workloads on Kubernetes.
Manage container lifecycle, image promotion, deployment standards, and platform engineering processes.
Implement and maintain Cilium network policies, container segmentation, micro-segmentation, and east-west traffic controls.
Troubleshoot Kubernetes networking, service communication, connectivity, and security policy issues.
Configure and manage MetalLB for on-premises Kubernetes load balancing and service exposure.
Manage IP address allocation, load-balancer services, and network availability.
Configure and administer NGINX Ingress, routing rules, SSL/TLS termination, DNS, certificates, and application access.
Implement KEDA event-driven autoscaling and optimize workload scaling behavior.
Implement container security controls, image signing, vulnerability management, and policy enforcement.
Support OTDS authentication, authorization, identity management, and synchronization requirements.
Implement monitoring, logging, telemetry, alerting, and operational dashboards for Kubernetes workloads.
Configure and maintain Vector Telemetry pipelines for centralized log collection and telemetry processing.
Develop Shell and Python automation for deployments, health checks, monitoring, remediation, and operational activities.
Support Kubernetes deployment processes, including Documentum/D2 Kubernetes deployment workflows.
Support production deployments, cutovers, release validation, rollback planning, and change-management activities.
Maintain runbooks, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, operational procedures, and governance documentation.
Provide technical leadership and SME support for Kubernetes engineering and operations teams.
