Job Title: Asst. Accounts

Reporting To: Chartered Accountant / Management
Job Summary
The Asst. Accounts will support accounting, taxation, audit, and reporting functions. The role involves preparation and finalization of accounts, statutory compliance, audit assistance, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders while ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and finalization of accounts.
- Assisting in statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits.
- Handling GST compliances including returns, reconciliations, and refunds.
- TDS and income tax filings and compliance.
- Bank reconciliations, general ledger scrutiny, and MIS reporting.
- Supporting monthly and quarterly financial reporting processes.
- Coordinating with clients and responding to accounting and tax-related queries.
- Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Exposure to ROC filings and company law matters (preferred).
Key Result Areas (KRAs)
1. Accounts Preparation & Finalization
- Ensure accurate preparation and timely finalization of accounts.
- Maintain correctness of ledgers, trial balance, and financial records.
2. Audit Support & Compliance
- Provide complete and accurate support for statutory, tax, and internal audits.
- Ensure timely submission of audit-related data and resolution of observations.
3. GST, TDS & Income Tax Compliance
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, reconciliations, and refund processing.
- Maintain compliance with TDS and income tax filing requirements.
4. Reconciliation & MIS Reporting
Perform accurate bank reconciliations and general ledger scrutiny.
- Prepare MIS reports to support management review and decision-making.
5. Financial Reporting Support
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting activities.
- Ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting timelines.
6. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate effectively with clients and internal teams.
- Respond promptly and accurately to accounting and tax-related queries.
7. Budgeting & Financial Analysis Support
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.
- Support financial planning and performance tracking.
8. Regulatory & ROC Support
- Assist in ROC filings and company law-related matters as required.
- Ensure documentation readiness and compliance support.
Key Requirements
- CA Inter cleared (both groups or at least one group).
- Articleship training completed or currently pursuing.
- Working knowledge of accounting software (Tally, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic analytical tools.
- Good understanding of accounting standards, taxation laws, and audit procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com background.
- Exposure to ERP systems.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic finance environment.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
