Business Development Executive (BDE)Aakash Agartala Centre1. Job Purpose
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for driving student enrolments, lead generation, counselling support, school/market outreach, parent engagement, and business growth for the Aakash Agartala Centre.
The role requires strong local-market knowledge, excellent communication skills, consistent follow-up, and the ability to convert enquiries and prospects into admissions while maintaining a positive parent/student experience.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Lead Generation & Business Development
- Generate new student/parent leads through local market activities, references, campaigns, school outreach, digital channels, seminars, and promotional activities.
- Identify potential student segments and new business opportunities in Agartala and nearby areas.
- Build and maintain a database of prospective students and parents.
- Ensure daily follow-up on all assigned leads.
B. Admission & Conversion
- Contact leads promptly and understand their academic requirements.
- Explain Aakash courses, programs, scholarships, test opportunities, facilities, and admission processes.
- Coordinate with counsellors/centre management to move qualified leads through the admission funnel.
- Follow up with parents and students until closure.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly admission/revenue targets.
C. School & Institutional Outreach
- Develop relationships with schools, teachers, principals, educational institutions, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for school seminars, career counselling sessions, Olympiads, admission tests, and other academic activities.
- Coordinate and support school visits and student engagement programs.
- Generate quality leads through institutional partnerships.
D. Local Marketing & Promotion
- Execute approved local marketing activities to improve centre visibility.
- Participate in seminars, exhibitions, education fairs, open houses, career counselling events, and promotional campaigns.
- Identify high-potential locations and communities for lead-generation activities.
- Provide feedback on competitor activities and local market trends.
E. Parent & Student Relationship Management
- Maintain regular communication with prospective parents and students.
- Address basic queries and coordinate with the appropriate centre team for academic/operational concerns.
- Maintain professional relationships throughout the admission journey.
- Ensure a smooth handover of converted students to the centre's relevant teams.
F. Reporting & CRM Discipline
- Update all leads, interactions, follow-ups, and outcomes in the prescribed CRM/system.
- Submit daily activity reports and periodic performance reports.
- Maintain accurate records of lead sources, conversion status, pending follow-ups, and lost leads.
- Provide market intelligence and competitor feedback to the Centre Head.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
