Job Role Summary
The Motor Repair & Service Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining shutter motors, gate motors, and related electrical systems. The role involves both in-house (workshop-based) repairs and on-site service visits for troubleshooting and maintenance. The technician must have hands-on experience in electrical and mechanical components including PCB boards, brake coils, copper winding, relays, and control systems.
Key Responsibilities Repair & Maintenance
- Diagnose faults in shutter motors, gate motors, and automation systems
- Repair and service components such as PCB boards, brake coils, copper windings, relays, capacitors, switches and minor fabrication.
- Perform rewinding of motors and replacement of damaged electrical parts
- Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure smooth functioning of equipment
- Test repaired motors and components for performance and safety
Field Service (Outdoor Work)
- Attend service calls at client sites for breakdowns and installations
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues on-site
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints
- Provide basic operational guidance to clients after service
Service Centre (Indoor Work)
- Carry out detailed repair work in the Service Centre
- Maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory
- Document repair work, parts used, and service reports
Safety & Compliance
- Follow electrical safety standards and company protocols
- Ensure proper handling of tools and machinery
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in motor repair or electrical maintenance
- Experience in shutter motors, gate motors, or similar automation systems preferred
Key Skills
- Knowledge of motor winding and electrical circuits
- Hands-on experience with PCB repair and relay systems
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot faults efficiently
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems
- Willingness to travel for on-site service calls
- Problem-solving and time management skills
Working Conditions
- Combination of indoor (Service Centre) and outdoor (field service) work
- May require travel within the city for service calls
- Flexible working hours depending on service requirements

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹24,000.00 per month
